Music highlights:Cobra Verde

COBRA VERDE, Thursday at Double Door, 1572 N. Milwaukee Ave. $8. 773-489-3160. There's nothing soft or sappy about the often bruising hard-rock on Cobra Verde's new CD "Easy Listening" (MuscleTone), but the noirish blackness that hovered over past records has given way to a slightly more sunny, upbeat ambience. Even so, this veteran Cleveland quartet unloads the good vibes with a catchy, glam-tinged punch that'll tickle your ear even as it cracks your jaw.
